Biden Admin Makes School Lunches Conditional On Woke Bathroom Policies

Earlier this month, the Biden administration announced that K-12 schools must allow boys into girls’ bathrooms and other private spaces—and vice-versa—to obtain federal funds for school lunches. The ruling would force public institutions to follow ideological, unscientific rules to be able to feed schoolchildren and others.

The policy is a woke interpretation of federal civil rights law Title IX to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. This interpretation could require public institutions to allow males who claim to be female to access private female spaces, enforce preferred pronoun usage, and allow cross-dressing. Formal rules are expected to be implemented in June.

No public school or institution is exempt from this ruling. The Federalist reports that while religious institutions may be exempt, “publicly affirming a commitment to sexual reality by seeking an exemption…may assist extremist pressure campaigns.”

Big picture: This woke demand puts students in dangerous and uncomfortable situations. It is currently not a formal regulation and will inevitably be met by multiple lawsuits.
