Federal Employees Taught Critical Race Theory, Gender Ideology Under Biden

In the U.S. Army: Women who “[express] discomfort showering with a female who has male genitalia” may speak with their superiors, but ultimately, transgender soldiers aren’t “expected to modify or adjust their behavior.” While the facility may adjust soldiers’ showering schedules or install curtains, such changes must not “isolate or stigmatize the [transgender] soldier.”
In the Department of Veterans Affairs: Staff are taught the concepts of “gender identity” and “gender expression” with a diagram of a “Genderbread Person.” They are instructed to examine “personal ‘biases’” and told that having “military experience,” a “light-complexion,” no criminal record, being “straight,” “Christian,” “cis-gendered,” and more are elements of “privilege.”
In NASA: Executives learn how to become “allies” who “use their privilege” to help “marginalized people.” The agency laments that an “over-reliance on data” disproving left-wing narratives in society threatens to “invalidate diverse people’s experiences.” It also describes “Color Blindness” as a “microaggression” and advises to “get intimate with your own bias and racial identity.”
Why we’re seeing this: President Joe Biden signed an executive order in June 2021 advancing “diversity, equity, and inclusion” material in the federal government. His administration has also expanded the practice of hiring diversity chiefsfor these efforts.
