Newly surfaced documents show US intelligence knew in 2020 that Chinese officials accessed and analyzed voter registration data from multiple states. Six years on, the intelligence community still has not fully briefed Congress or the public on the extent of China’s actions, how it obtained the data, or what operations it has carried out or considered.
⚖️ Democrats refer Kristi Noem for perjury probe. Top Democrats asked the Justice Department to investigate whether DHS Secretary Kristi Noem lied to Congress about ICE court violations and a $220 million ad campaign. The Trump DOJ dismissed the referral as political theater and signaled it will not pursue charges.
🚀 Iranian missiles rained debris over Jerusalem’s holy sites. Fragments from intercepted Iranian projectiles fell across the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Temple Mount, and near the Western Wall, prompting closures across the Old City. Although Trump’s DOJ will not investigate Noem, Democrat strategists are assuring that they will relentlessly pursue investigations and impeachments against a range of Cabinet officials, much of which we covered yesterday. Noem may be the first target — and given her questionable decisions at DHS, an easy one — but Hegseth, Rubio, RFK Jr., and Trump himself may come soon. — Brandon
