WHAT WE'RE WATCHING

🇺🇳 Terrorists attack U.N. workers off of Gaza. The humanitarian project to construct a pier off the coast of Gaza fell under mortar attack, with one person sustaining minor injuries. With the U.S. leading the construction initiative, American troops are in dangerous proximity to Hamas terrorists, risking an escalation of the conflict if they were to be directly attacked.

🇲🇽 Mexico is experiencing one of its bloodiest campaign cycles ever. Since Mexico’s campaign season commenced in June of 2023, there have been over 30 political candidates murdered and nearly one dozen kidnappings. 🇷🇺 Russia is warning Europe against confiscating its assets. After the Russians launched their military assault on Ukraine, Western nations froze Russian assets such as bank accounts, luxury products, and properties. 🌍 World defense spending reached its highest levels ever. A new report shows that military spending across the globe skyrocketed to $2.4 trillion in 2023 as conflicts mount in Ukraine, the Middle East, and beyond. The U.S. spent over $900 billion on defense, with the Chinese ranking second at nearly $300 billion. However, China spiked its military spending by six percent from 2022.
