They were shocked by the contents, which showed then-candidate Joe Biden was heavily involved in influence-peddling across the globe.

The findings: Hunter Biden’s laptop reveals that Joe Biden did a lot of influence peddling, meaning he corruptly sold his influence and had his son collect the profit. Some findings include:

1. Hunter was bringing in $50,000/month from Ukrainian gas companies. In return, Hunter gave them access to his father—the Vice President at the time—contradicting Joe Biden’s claim that he never spoke business with his son.

2. Hunter Biden was to receive $10 million annually from CCP-related Chinese businessmen in exchange for influence. Ten percent of it was allocated for "the big guy."

3. Joe Biden met his son’s business partners from Ukraine, Russia, and Kazakhstan in Washington, D.C., in 2015.

4. Hunter Biden tried to use his father's influence to strike a deal with a state-owned U.S.-sanctioned Chinese energy company.

The New York Post: After alerting the FBI, the store owners began contacting different congressmen to break the story, eventually leading them to the New York Post. On October 14, 2020, less than three weeks before the presidential election, the New York Post broke the groundbreaking story that exposed the Bidens’ corrupt business dealings.

Censorship and Disinformation

Immediate censorship: Two hours after the story broke, Facebook and Twitter censored it. Users were barred from linking the story in their posts and direct messages on Twitter. On Facebook, the platform algorithmically suppressed the story. Subsequently, the New York Post Twitter account was also locked.

• This was all done without explanation. Twitter changed its “Hacked Materials Policy” to justify its actions the day after.

The disinformation campaign: Four days after the story broke, Politico published a letter signed by more than 50 former intelligence officials claiming the story was Russian disinformation. It stated that while there was no actual evidence of the laptop story being Russian disinformation, they had a hunch that it was.

• No doubt of authenticity: According to veteran journalists like Glenn Greenwald, the archive’s authenticity was clear from the start. All of the metrics used to verify emails and similar types of information—including third-party document verification—were there.

The media-intelligence relationship: The letter from former CIA agents was taken as gospel. All of the major legacy media outlets—CNN, NBC, PBS, and many more— parroted their claim as fact.

• This is a trend: Intelligence officials present their suspicions as fact and greenlight the media to run with it for partisan gain. The Russian bounty and collusion hoaxes were concocted similarly.

Swaying the election: According to a poll, 16 percent of voters unaware of the laptop scandal would not have voted for Biden if they knew about it. In other words, the story was suppressed to sway votes in the presidential election.

The New York Times: On March 17, 2022, The New York Times said that Hunter Biden’s emails were authenticated and corroborated their origin.
