🤖 Grok churned out antisemitic posts after update. Elon Musk's AI chatbot produced numerous antisemitic responses on X, including endorsing conspiracy theories about Jewish people, praising Hitler, and referring to itself as "MechaHitler." The posts appeared after a weekend update that Musk had promised would make the chatbot less "woke." Grok and AI simply learn the patterns they’re trained on — and in this case, Grok was trained on content from some antisemites on X. Musk later apologized for the AI’s “horrific behavior.”

✌️ Linda Yaccarino resigned as CEO of X. After two years leading Elon Musk's social network, Yaccarino announced her departure just one day after the Grok antisemitism controversy erupted. Musk simply replied, "Thank you for your contributions," to her resignation post. During her tenure, Yaccarino frequently defended Musk's controversial behavior while stabilizing the company after an advertiser exodus that followed his acquisition of the platform.

🇮🇱 Tucker Carlson claimed Epstein worked for Israeli intelligence. At a Turning Point USA event, conservative media personality Tucker Carlson stated that "everyone in Washington" believes Jeffrey Epstein was a Mossad operative who blackmailed people involved in his sex trafficking scheme. Carlson questioned whether Epstein's operations served Israeli intelligence purposes rather than personal gain. Though the US government admitted in 2008 that Epstein “belonged to intelligence,” there is no concrete evidence that he was a Mossad asset.

✊ Major venture capitalist stood his ground following “Islamist” comments. Venture capitalist and open Trump-backer Shaun Maguire faced backlash after accusing NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani of being an "Islamist" who "comes from a culture that lies about everything." Nearly 1,000 tech founders signed a letter demanding that Sequoia Capital take disciplinary action, while 355 others signed a counter-letter supporting Maguire. The backlash and counter-backlash expose a deepening political rift in Silicon Valley, though conservative views appear to be increasingly palatable.
