LA Dodgers Team Up With Drag Queens Who Exposed Children to Nudity and Sexual Acts

The drag queen group, which the L.A. Major League Baseball team will host for Pride Night, has a history of grooming.

The story: The Los Angeles Dodgers have invited a drag queen group, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, to perform for the team’s Pride Night next month, drawing criticism from Catholic organizations, a Republican senator, numerous conservative figures, and one of its own players. The national LGBT group is mainly under fire for mocking religious “bigotry” with Christianity-themed performances. Its history of exposing children to sex acts, however, reveals an even more radical agenda.

The history: The Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco, dedicated to “sexual liberation,” allowed public displays of nudity and sexual acts in front of children in the 2000s before the fair added certain restrictions. The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence frequently volunteered to manage the gated entrances to the event, raising donations while allowing parents with babies and toddlers to enter. Activities that children witnessed at the event included kink, bondage, and sadism performances, masturbation, oral sex, and more. Vendors at the fair sold bondage gear specifically sized for children.

Culture war targets religion: The Dodgers’s decision to honor the drag queen group represents a significant departure from traditional values. Because religious values in America inherently reject homosexuality and transgenderism—especially among children—activists such as the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence have sought to denigrate religion and portray it as a source of discrimination and bigotry. For this, culture warriors on the left are willing to accept its divisive style and disturbing background.

Media’s role: Media outlets covering the controversy have described the group as a force against “religious homophobia,” “sexual intolerance,” and “a judgmental society.” Following a tragic incident where a trans-identifying biological female carried out a mass shooting at a Christian elementary school in Nashville, Tennessee, the media responded similarly, blaming Christian conservatives for their efforts to limit the influence of transgenderism on children in the state.
