'Twitter Does Not Believe in Free Speech' Says Twitter Engineer

Project Veritas published a secretly recorded conversation with a Twitter engineer. The following is a breakdown of what was revealed.

No shame in censoring the right: The engineer discussed that it was no secret within the company that right-wingers were openly censored while many on the left were left alone.

Many far-left workers: The engineer expressed that many workers at Twitter were far left, “commie as f**k,” and hated Elon Musk.

Conformist left-wing environment: The engineer discussed how he became more left-wing working at Twitter because of the high conformity environment. “I think it's just like the environment like you're there, and you become like this commie.”

Focused on ideology rather than profit: The engineer described the working environment as very lax. Employees take months off, and it is not out of the ordinary to take multiple days off for mental health. “No one really cares about [operating expenses].” Politics, however, are taken seriously.

In other news regarding Twitter, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has declared his Twitter buyout "cannot move forward" until the social media site verifies the number of bots on the platform. He believes that 20% of the user base consists of bots. The CEO of Twitter has refused to provide research that shows that number is less than 5%.
