🇮🇷 Iran is planning to assassinate Donald Trump. Intelligence officials reportedly have collected evidence that Iran may attempt to kill Donald Trump before the November election. While he was president, Trump ordered the killing of one of Iran’s top generals — and an assassination could be an attempt at retaliation.

🇵🇸 Hamas’ leadership is under internal pressure to make peace. Israel has killed thousands of Hamas members, and senior Hamas officers reportedly want the war to end. The CIA has said that Yahya Sinwar, Hamas’ leader, is also concerned that he may be blamed for the suffering in Gaza should the war continue.

🇮🇱 The Houthis bombed Tel Aviv. A Houthi munition — it is unclear if it was a drone or a missile — struck the city, killing one person and injuring seven more. It is the most severe attack on Tel Aviv since the October 7 massacre and marks a marked escalation in the regional conflict.

🇧🇴 Bolivia discovered a massive natural gas field. The newly found 1.7 trillion cubic feet natural gas field is reportedly the largest one discovered since 2005 and could likely revitalize the country's dwindling gas export business. The country is currently in the midst of an economic downturn.

🇺🇦 Russia and Ukraine are fighting over New York. Russian forces have advanced partially into New York, Ukraine (named after the American city). Though Ukraine has pushed the Russians back some, if the invaders manage to take the city, it could further imperil Ukraine’s defensive lines.
