The preliminary hearing for Tyler Robinson, the 23-year-old accused of assassinating conservative activist Charlie Kirk, entered its second day on Tuesday in Provo, Utah.

Prosecutors presented new surveillance footage and testimony from investigators, indicating that Robinson was present at Utah Valley University and very likely fired the gun that killed Kirk. The hearing will determine whether sufficient evidence exists to bring Robinson to trial for murder — a conviction that could carry the death penalty.
