🕌 FBI thwarted an ISIS-inspired plot to bomb New York's Capitol. Jessica Bowie, 35, was arrested Wednesday after allegedly casing the Albany building five times and telling undercover sources she wanted to "destroy as much of the building as possible and kill the senators while they are meeting." Bowie became radicalized online after converting to Islam five years ago.

🤝 Jeffries and Kushner held a private meeting. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries met privately with Jared Kushner, raising eyebrows across Washington about potential bipartisan dealmaking or simply back-channel relationship building. The meeting's substance remains unclear, but the optics alone have sparked speculation that the Trump Administration is expecting an incoming Democrat-led House, and exploring how they could work together.

🎯 Trump's comments cut against the assumption that Vance is a lock for 2028. ⚖️ Trump administration moves to break ABA's law school monopoly. The Trump administration has begun dismantling the American Bar Association's exclusive authority over law school accreditation. Critics have long argued the ABA used its gatekeeping power to enforce ideological conformity in legal education; the administration sees the move as opening the profession to greater diversity of thought.
