🙏 Senator Lindsey Graham dead at 71. The South Carolina Republican passed away suddenly on Saturday, reportedly following an aortic tear due to Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease. Graham, who before his time in politics served in the US Air Force, built a congressional career spanning more than 30 years, becoming a leading Republican voice and a trusted adviser to President Trump on foreign policy and national security.
🗣️ Platner trashes ICE, says “Free Palestine” on his way out. The Democratic nominee for Senate in Maine dropped out on Friday after new rape accusations surfaced, signing off his withdrawal letter with "F*ck ICE. Free Palestine." Platner blamed "corporate media" and the "political establishment" for his downfall.
🇮🇱 Rep. Ro Khanna detained after entering sensitive zone in Israel. The far-left California congressman was blocked by armed Israeli settlers in the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) and questioned by IDF soldiers after entering a sensitive area without proper coordination, according to the Israeli military. Khanna complained about the "arrogance" of young Israelis carrying American rifles that "my tax dollars are funding."
🎓 Ivy League trustees overwhelmingly identify as Democrats. A Buckley Institute report found that Democrats outnumber Republicans 6 to 1 on Ivy League governing boards, with Yale having zero Republican representation. Trustees donated $85.5 million to Democratic candidates and causes compared to $22.4 million to Republicans.
