Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) sounded the alarm that the SAVE America Act, which requires voter ID and proof of citizenship, will remove "25 million people" from voter rolls. Implicit in this statement is the claim that tens of millions of ineligible people are currently voting — a conclusion he appeared not to recognize.
🇮🇷 Iran closes Strait of Hormuz after Lebanon clashes. Iran announced on Saturday that it is closing the Strait of Hormuz, accusing Israel of violating the ceasefire by launching strikes against Hezbollah in Lebanon. However, Israel claims that Hezbollah struck first, firing over 50 projectiles at non-confrontational Israeli troops.
