Europe Attacks Elon Musk For Free Speech

If I understand correctly, the EU is imposing conditions on X that are the same as TWITTER when Musk bought it. If EU gets its way, X has to return to the same type of censorship that TWITTER and FB employed during the Biden Administration. The EU should spend more time fixing their own internal problems of immigration than trying to regulate something that is a global product. And their demands fly in the face of our 1st amendment.

Our allies need to stand for our fundamental values, free speech being a primary. If not, we should not provide as much support.

These EU "officials" are unelected; that's all anyone needs to know. Like our (US) "appointed" judges, they and their decisions/edicts should be disregarded and sent packing.

I say we dump the EU and NATO. The EU has fallen to Socialism, which is Stage I of Communism. Their citizens no longer have Free Speech. Without Free Speech, there is no freedom. Now they attempt to force us into it. Musk can always take access away altogether from the EU. Leave them in the dark and the mid-twentieth century, with their Nazi-like censorship. And if they do fine these companies, what could they honestly do to get the money? Which leads back to just dropping the EU altogether. And yes, he should also disable Starlink for the EU, and Space X as well. We don't need them, and frankly, neither does he.

The "EU" is getting "too big for their britches". Way too big.

I'd say the EU doesn't believe in FREE SPEECH!

Thank God we have a chance to stop censorship in the U.S. Any student of 20th century history or visitor to countries under authoritarian/communist rule will see how this works out. The path of censorship is a very bad one and a step in the direction of authoritarian rule.

If the EU doesn't back down and fines X, then Musk should shut X down for Europe and also shut down Starlink. The only way these Marxist European authoritarians will understand is SERIOUS PUSHBACK. Wait for the European people to turn their anger at their own governments.

Just as in a game of chess, each side is making their moves and decisions, carefully. Trump always appears to be several moves ahead, however and is watching this game very carefully.

I wonder just HOW the EU would disable X (satellites!) or collect a fine on an American company for failing to abide by our Constitution? In Desert Storm, allied communications experts expected the air strikes against communication points to cripple Hussein's forces in the first days. But they only reduced the traffic: the internet still worked only over telephone wiring. DARPA's objective was to create an "uncuttable" network, and that's what Europe and everywhere else are stuck with. It couldn't be stopped against the Serbs, earlier, and the number of modes and routes has increased since. Tell 'em to pound sand!

Anything that contradicts the strict leftist dogma of the EU is labeled "disinformation". Leftists are the same, everywhere. Deluded.

I recently deleted the X App due to the amount of spam and unwanted follows from weirdos masquerading as female prostituting themselves or posting inappropriate photo's. I have repeatedly complained to X about those spam accounts. I frequent recieve invites from many different Elon Musks....lol and others that are obviously not who the present to be. Seems every political post from Trumps, the VP,s Musks, Congress, Senate and reporters are almost always spam or propaganda. A colossal waste of my to use X.

Arrogant Europe thinks it's still in charge. They've been sponging off of US defense umbrella while jacking us with tariffs. Some payback for saving them from tyranny
