France Opens the Floodgates to Gazans

A French court dramatically expanded its asylum laws.

_WHAT’S HAPPENING_

A French court recently granted asylum to a mother and son from Gaza who had sought refuge in the country.

The ruling, however, is sweeping in its implications: it declared that because of Israel’s conduct in conducting its war against Hamas, all Gazans are eligible for asylum, opening up France, and possibly elsewhere in Europe, to a flood of new Palestinian migrants.
