_WHAT’S HAPPENING_
Member of Parliament Rupert Lowe, the leader of the populist-right Restore Britain party, has released a devastating 219-page report alleging that at least 250,000 British girls have been raped, trafficked, and sexually exploited by organized grooming gangs over the past several decades.
The report accuses police, social workers, the National Health Service (NHS), schools, and successive governments of repeatedly failing to intervene despite clear evidence of abuse.
_THE FACTS_
Victims were overwhelmingly white, working-class girls — often preteens — who were groomed with gifts, alcohol, and drugs before being trafficked for repeated sexual assault.
The report states that nearly 90 percent of offenders in major child-grooming gang cases had distinctively Muslim names, most commonly of Pakistani origin.
One victim, identified as Chloe, said "hundreds and hundreds and hundreds" of men abused her over the years.
Girls as young as 13 were admitted to sexual health clinics with various sexual diseases, yet the NHS discharged victims back to their abusers without safeguarding referrals or trauma care.
Testimony describes one survivor seeing a girl approximately five or six years old tied up, and hearing other girls elsewhere in the property.
Police forces allegedly ignored repeated reports, destroyed evidence, criminalized victims instead of perpetrators, and allowed known rapists to walk free on bail.
Social workers often dismissed concerns, with one survivor testifying that "the authorities treated me as though I was to blame for what was happening."
The report accuses the left-wing Labour Party of prioritizing "electoral reliance on Muslim voting blocs" and blocking inquiries while suppressing ethnicity data and framing concerns as "far-right agitation."
_OUR TAKE_
The scale of institutional failure described in this report is staggering. Social workers returned abused girls to their rapists. Police destroyed evidence and arrested the victims. Healthcare providers documented injuries and infections in children but took no protective action. This went on for decades.
This horrific saga is emblematic of a culture of fear that has taken hold across much of the West, where a population becomes so terrified of accusations of racism that they fail to stop the systematic abuse of young girls by men who should never have been allowed entry into the country to prey on them in the first place.
