Here are six false stories have spread like wildfire.

_WHAT’S HAPPENING_
In recent months, numerous media hoaxes have circulated with misleading, incomplete, or entirely false claims about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) deportations.
The stories typically follow the same path: the media highlights someone they claim was cruelly abducted or mistreated by federal immigration officers.
Then, days later, the story is disproved by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) or it’s revealed that key details about the migrant’s criminal record, often the catalyst for their deportation, were left out.
