Other than the emergence of socialist-specific platforms, I consider the bulk of the democratic party to be like two opposing gangs both with platforms dangerous to the nation. While it's true that many "normal" democrats don't fall into that category, the mouths spouting the loudest messages do. If the far-left take-over the party, it's a great opportunity for the GOP to capitalize on a more pro-American platform. If they'll just do it...

Even though they continue to call themselfs "The Democrat Party" they have actually been the "far left" or Communist Party for a number of years now. A detailed close look at the party platform clearly exposes that.

I would say that it is very possible that the DSA could control the Democrat party soon. The reason is their lack of policy and judgment about the people's needs in our country. Many of the old guard politicians focused on their own interests and not the people. Of course, DSA is the same (just worse), but they are expressing themselves better to the downtrodden, who are fools, who have not studied history! Lenin did this in Russia, that lead to the USSR.

Violent radicals win by violent takeovers that intimidate the opposition. Yes, I believe the Democrats have already lost this race. I only pray the Republicans are courageous by God's grace & soundly defeat every radical in the general election and every election there is!

If influential blacks could get out and talk to their people about this takeover by "educated elitist" socialists, perhaps a great portion will leave the party. It was encouraging to see at least one NY black politician "gets" the danger.

Nope. Socialism is a fundamental part of democrat platform. As stated by Laney B, only if leaders stand up and expose the dangers of communism and get voters out against them will civility prevail.

I think honestly the elections in 2026 and 2028 will tell. The DSA is strong in places that are liberal, however you don’t see them successful in middle class moderate or conservative areas. I think anyone with a job who pays taxes will not support socialism. You can always point to France who just increased the retirement age. If the democrats and moderates were smart they would point up these countries. The base of DSA is mainly those who don’t work and don’t want to pay taxes or they are wealthy and will benefit from the money collected by the government to be given to them.

Just shows how dumb the commies are when they talk seriously about getting rid of the Executive Branch and the Senate. If they get up against the Republican candidates, they’ll certainly lose because most Americans aren’t into that much insanity.

No, both the faction that identifies as Socialist and the main Democratic faction, are Socialist at heart. They pass legislation to give people stuff so they will vote for the Democrats. In both cases it programs to buy voters, or in the case of their resistance to the SAVE act they want the people they have bought with their actions to vote even when they are not legally allowed to vote. I can not see how Americans can not see through this. May God save our Nation.

Not totally because there are too many mainstream Dems outside of the major metropolitan areas. For sure, the Socialists are causing major disruptions in the Democrat party. The so-called mainstream Dems have gone along with socialist leaning policies for decades. What is happening now is their own fault; they are anti-American and they are reaping what they have sowed.

Kids are not taught the evils of communism or socialism. Which means using that attack vector will not be as effective as it should be.

They are twice as likely to hold a college degree! That is where today's socialists/communists/radicals are born and bred. Want your children to remain conservative and patriots; keep them out of secular colleges and universities! They are incubators of radicalism and anti-Americanism. If you must send them anywhere, send them to a trade school or Christian colleges and universities like Hillsdale, Liberty, or Texas Christian, to name only three.

The slow anarchy of the Democratic party, which has been going on for decades is leaving not only legal immigrants and minorities unrepresented, but caters to the "Progressive White Elites". Voter fraud needs to be cleaned up as their agenda will do anything to sway the electorate, even by breaking the laws. Elections and many groups who provides "ballot chasers" put eyes on the process the far left doesn't want, and will seek to eliminate. I sometimes wonder if instead of mailing in a ballot, we would be better served to start going to the polls again. Unfortunately, many of our younger college grads/ left-media, are truly the "useful idiots" that Communism has always counted on. Ancient wisdom, "A house divided against itself cannot stand". First the party, then the country. Time for the silent majority on both sides of the aisle to not only speak out, but get involved in your local, state and federal elections. Activism can be a useful tool that cuts both ways.

No… the DemonRats will just join them for power’s sake. They have no platform that resonates with rational Americans. They just roll over and acquiesce. Thank our institutions of higher learning for the illiberal leftist dystopia that has overtaken the intelligentsia and professional class!

the so-called "normal" Democrats have encouraged the same thing the socialist group is but they rename it. The entire Democrat party is liberal, only the degree of liberalism is the difference. Certainly this party would not be recognized by my parent's generation as Democrat. Fortunately, my parents recognized the shift many decades before they died.

Lets be clear, there is no Democratic Party left in America, period. They are either Socialist Lite at best or full on Pinko Lefty Socialist Commies at worst. Either way you cut it, none of these individuals of that mindset should ever be allowed to serve on any governmental platform as their views and ideology are in direct opposition of the values and principles that forged this once great nation. I truly don't know why so many people keep pretending, and this absolutely applies to many GOP members, that it's just another day in D.C. politics. It is not and it's shameful and pathetic that these so-called patriotic conservatives sit on their laurels and let this shit get worse in our country. We truly need to Drain the Swamp of a greater majority of what currently exists. It's funny that Trump ran on this platform in 2016 and ironically if anything, the Swamp has grown worse. That should resonate with everyone..

For this election cycle at least and probably the next as well, especially if they don't kick the radicals back to where they came from.
