The Left’s Sickening Celebration of Kirk’s Death

_WHAT’S HAPPENING_

After the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, most politicians on the political left voiced outrage at the killing and called for an immediate stop to political violence. Both Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and progressive commentator Cenk Uygur, for example, offered sincere statements of grief and calls to end political violence.

There were many, however, who openly celebrated Kirk’s death. In the past several days, there has been a wave of firings of left-leaning individuals who offered callous remarks, including at MSNBC and public schools across the country.
