MAGA Topples Thomas Massie

In order to survive in the rapid expansion of progressivism from the left, Republicans need to be united. That doesn't make everything they do or say right but sometimes you have to just hold your nose and go along. The democrats have done so well because they have been united .....we have lost half of our country to the left because we have not been united!

I believe the results are good news for Republicans, but the GOP doesn't play well with a lead. So we'll see. I think the Massie loss is as much a referendum on his obvious defiance of Trump. Massie is arrogant and dismissive of Trump and MAGA-initiatives, and I think he believed he was untouchable. He completely misread his base and it cost him.

"Are these election results good news for Trump and Republicans?" Yes. Goodbye to another RINO. Now Collins & Murkowski need to be added to the list. McConnell is retiring which is great news. Kassidy lost his primary race = wonderful. Voters, keep cleaning the slate!

It is wonderful these low t RINOs are removed. Republicans who are loved by Communists (Democrats) are not to be trusted.

Seems like good news for the Trump political machine but nothing is certain in politics and elections.

Yes, these were promising results. However, the Pubs need succinct, bullet-point presentations and graphs highlighting the GOP accomplishments and bullet-point charts outlining the destructive policies of the left.

I don't think it's good or bad news but just the facts. Massie made his own mess which, in part, was pride. It was a costly mistake.

The most frustrating thing about the Republican Party right now is the infighting. Democrats probably have their issues too but they always manage to stay together as a bloc and it makes them hard to beat.

If Democrats can manage to coalesce around their terrible policies and still win, surely republicans can do the same?? We have good policies! They are backed by actual moral standards. I wish more individuals would stop trying to be mavericks and understand that their party has GOOD POLICIES and stick together.

So it seems the translation to this article is that seats in our government go to the highest bidder, proper votes of We the People be damned. If we're all being decent honest and sensible Republican Conservatives and not mindless drone followers like the poor sheepish Democrat Liberals then we have to accept the fact that Trump and Team are just not getting it done in any real capacity (ex. DOGE, Mass Deportation, Epstein Disclosure, and Foreign Wars). There's a reason his approval rating is in the dumpster at 30% and that's across the board (Repubs/Dems). And no, it's not just about the economy as pointed out above. Sad to say, Trump seems unhinged and not up to the task as he bounces from one failed initiative to the next and rage ranting/attacking anyone who dare question his motives even when they're unpopular or failing more so. Massie's ousting kinda highlights this, so I don't think it's doing the GOP any favors..

Common sense vs. crazy.

Trump, of course needs loyal members on his team, but he is currently looking like a bully. Most of us dislike bullies... I voted for Trump in 2016 because he was being bullied so badly by the Dems, who continued their stupid campaign against him, effectively nullifying their ideals.

Unity is a necessary component of political power. No group can win without “being on board” as much as possible for the win. Individuals can express themselves and differ in ideas but voting must be in unity.
