Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and others in the Make America Healthy Again movement say the surge in antidepressant use over the past decade may be doing more harm than good, and warn that the long-term effects of these drugs still aren’t fully understood.

Kennedy and his allies are calling for independent research into long-term side effects, including emotional numbing and possible links to higher suicide rates among young people.
