Mamdani’s “Tax the Rich” Plan Hits the Middle Class

Question: Do you support any part of Mamdani’s tax plan? ANSWER: Yes. I support the part where the wealthy flee the city and locate to lower taxed, well run, well capitalized red states, leaving the NYC Socialists to wallow in the dismal realities of their chosen Socialistic "economics."

No. Just no, I do not support any part of Mamdani's tax plan. In fact, I think he wants to turn NYC into the first totally Islamist city in the US. That is his real goal. Don't be too distracted by his crazy financial schemes. Keep your eyes on the real goal. In fact, instead of moving out, NYC residents should reclaim their city by having a recall vote.

Communism has been tested many times in world history in different countries, the only thing that has been proven is that COMMUNISM DOES NOT WORK, ALL THE THINGS IT PROMISES NEVER COME TRUE. Communism promises utopia, but, intentionaly never difines exactly what that is, thus it can never be attained.

The people of NYC have only themselves to blame, they voted for this nincompoop to do this to them. My prayer is that those who leave NYC to move to places like Florida and Texas don't take their idiotic political ideas with them. Mayor Mamdani displays, once again, the total economic ignorance of socialists and Marxists. They see it as a zero-sum game: people will just stay in place and pay more and not choose other alternatives. Well, the governor, and many others, have predicted the people he is targeting will just move away, and they are. These folks are so economically challenged that they can't find "their butt cheeks with both hands"!

I'm not sure if anyone in NYC supports it or even why they would. I feel bad for the residents who have to deal with his policies. I'm sure some who can will leave, but most are probably stuck. And Hochul's plea for the wealthy to return is a stunning reminder of how stupid she is. She and Mamdani are creating a legacy for NYC that will be hard to fix.

I have no sympathy for those idiots that voted for him. I could easily see in the early 90's what was taking place in NY politics. I picked up my family and business and moved it a few hundred miles away to a family and business friendly state. Despite its work and initial challenges, it has been a proven winner. And 2 of my friends, back then, also moved out, as the 3 of us families left within 6 weeks of one another, in '94. A brother of mine did too. My parents, whose business was big compared to mine, moved it out of NY state, too. All of us are happy we did. And over 30 years later, now we have Hooookul screaming please come back!!!! In your dreams, you lib!!! Your state's lose has been our gain.

Why are people from India socialist/ communist? I do not know ow much about India politics but you see this. I think the idiots who voted for him should live their reality. I live in Seattle area, but not Seattle. In a few years I will be moving to a conservative state and I will vote conservatively like I have been for 40 years. Washington is beautiful and where my family has been, but there are oligarchs who want all I worked hard for and I’m taking it with me. The mentally ill can go back to insane asylums where they and society will be protected. We support the mentally ill and there 8 unhoused children. We support the lazy illegal immigrants who don’t want work, smile and say give me all your hard earned dollars . Get a job and pay taxes like me!!!

Being a Connecticut resident,I support everything the mayor is doing. I will gladly sell my house to a fleeing New Yorker. The commute is only 1 hour from Stamford.
