What’s happening: Yesterday, Donald Trump was sworn in as the 47th President of the United States. Almost immediately, he signed a flurry of extraordinarily consequential executive orders. Here are some of the biggest ones you need to know:

Ending birthright citizenship: President Trump signed an executive order targeting automatic citizenship for US-born children of migrants in the country illegally. The order specifies that children born to “unlawfully present” mothers and “non-US citizen” fathers will not automatically receive US citizenship. This order challenges the long-standing interpretation of the 14th Amendment and is likely to face legal battles.

It’s likely that most of his executive orders will face legal challenges from the left. That’s what they do. But with enough executive orders, maybe the left will bankrupt themselves with legal fees.

Biden's blanket pardons would set an on-going precedent if the Supreme Court allows them to stand, namely that any future President could send agents to do literally anything illegal, with the promise of giving them a blanket pardon afterward !

Any President pre-emptively pardoning someone that was never convicted or nyet to even be charged is beyond absurd. A law needs to be passed that makes this null and void, past and future..

Hooray for Trump for fulfilling his campaign promises so quickly and so thoroughly. He must have learned a whole lot from his first term and by watching the melt-down of America during the Biden reign. He is brilliant in so many ways, but not able to control his mouth from uttering anything his brain is thinking in the moment. He needs to practice a bit of self-control on that front, but it gets him a lot of headlines, both positive and negative. It has influenced Congress, mostly negatively, as well as the world, mostly positively with an "is he serious" and fear response from leaders of both the Western and Eastern worlds. I have loved every second watching the responses and changes on that front, almost instaneous, if not before a projected deadline!

Trump did exactly what he said he would do. And he did it while fielding questions from the MSM. Working late into the night, he made sweeping changes that yanked our country back from the brink of totatalitarian insanity.
