Like many other shortsighted decisions, Turkey was brought into NATO and it is nearly impossible to remove them. Erdogan is a raging anti-semite who is sadly, in office for another three years. Of course, it is also possible that he could suspend elections, especially if he is losing, given that about 40% of its population support him.
