The case against Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old accused of assassinating Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk last September, continues to slowly wind through pretrial proceedings as defense attorneys push for delays and restrictions on media access. In a January court filing, Erika Kirk — Charlie's widow — asserted her right to a speedy trial as a victim and warned against “undue delay.”

Judge Tony Graf is still weighing defense requests for a four-month continuance and a ban on courtroom cameras, with rulings expected May 8. Robinson faces aggravated murder charges and could receive the death penalty if convicted.
