There are some names being floated as Bondi’s replacement, including EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin, DOJ Civil Rights Division chief Harmeet Dhillon, and Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO). The president and others in his cabinet, including Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, have reportedly been unhappy with Bondi since the Epstein files debacle.
🚁 US rescued airman deep inside Iran. In a daring two-day operation, SEAL Team 6 extracted a seriously injured F-15E weapons officer from the Zagros Mountains after he evaded Iranian forces for 36 hours. The colonel climbed a 7,000-foot ridge while MQ-9 Reaper drones provided cover fire, destroying hostile forces who got within two miles of his position. The CIA planted false intelligence that the airman had already been rescued, diverting Iranian attention while commandos built a forward airstrip 200 miles inside hostile territory.
💣 Trump threatened Iran's bridges and power plants.
