On Thursday, we reported on how American media was twisting — or making up — stories about ICE deportations. But they’re not alone: European media across the continent have obfuscated or lied about a series of deportations since Trump’s return to the White House.
By spreading these rumors, they have harmed America’s image abroad, leading millions of Europeans to believe that the US government will arrest and throw them out of the country for no reason.
