Tucker Carlson released a video over the weekend claiming the CIA has been reading his text messages and is preparing a criminal referral against him to the Department of Justice.
The right-leaning podcaster alleges he is being targeted for communications he had with people in Iran before Operation Epic Fury began on February 28. Carlson suggests he may face charges under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), which requires individuals acting on behalf of foreign governments to register with the DOJ.
He denied being an Iranian asset and framed the alleged investigation as retaliation for his criticism of the war and his views on Israel.
