The media wants you to believe this year's Democratic Congressional nominees have moderated from the extreme positions they took in the recent past. They haven’t.

Start with James Talarico, the Democrat running for Senate in Texas. We’ve documented in depth how radical this guy is. He calls God “nonbinary,” fawns over “trans kids,” and uses the Christian faith to justify his far-left policies. He recently disappeared from the campaign trail for over a week, and the mainstream media didn't bat an eye.
Talarico dropping out of sight so close to an election was so bizarre that rumors started swirling about a mental health breakdown. Those rumors weren’t true, but they took hold because the media said nothing while he went completely dark.
In this election cycle, the Senate is up for grabs. Much of the major polling shows Republicans are in trouble, and even in typically solid-red districts they are within the margin of error with their Democrat opponents. Texas is in the closest Senate matchup in years. If Republicans lose it, that could be disastrous for the GOP.
In an attempt to moderate heading into the general election in November, Talarico pledged on Fox News recently to "absolutely" support a national ban on sex change surgeries for minors and said he'd oppose transgender-identifying athletes in girls' sports. Sounds moderate, right?
But here’s what the mainstream news won’t tell you:
His own longtime minister, caught on undercover camera, confirmed the whole thing is just theater: "I can guarantee you that once he gets elected, he'll change his tune back to where he was."
If that’s not bad enough, A Texas Democratic Party organizer was also caught on camera admitting to a “shady” scheme to pay voters to vote for Talarico: “We are paying people $25 to attend a one-hour Zoom class to learn why voting is important,” said the Democrat organizer, “and why the Republicans are causing all of these bad things.”
Let’s take a look at another candidate mainstream outlets are treating with kid gloves. Abdul El-Sayed, the Democratic nominee for Senate in Michigan, has been campaigning as a serious, credentialed public health expert. "Dr. El-Sayed," his ads call him. Democrats claim he’s a nice man who just wants people to have healthcare. Seems reasonable enough. But here’s what flies under the radar:
During his primary, he personally recruited Hasan Piker — the radical leftist streamer who once said "America deserved 9/11" and believes America is “pound for pound” worse than al-Qaeda.
On primary night, Piker worked the crowd next to a local imam who called the death of Iran's Ayatollah Khamenei "a tragedy" and has separately delivered a funeral prayer honoring a slain Hamas leader as a "heroic martyr."
As a college student, El-Sayed led the University of Michigan's Muslim Students Association and personally organized a protest against three former terrorists who had come to campus to talk about converting to Christianity.
In a 2012 essay, "Dr. El-Sayed" argued that breast cancer research was overfunded because it disproportionately helps people with "social power and privilege" — coming from a man who once reportedly told a female colleague he refused to work with "anyone over 40."
Also in 2012, he co-signed a public demand for the Muslim Brotherhood to "purge" Egypt's media and police after the group seized power. A brutal press crackdown followed soon after.
On a private campaign call the day after Ayatollah Khamenei's death, El-Sayed said he didn't "want to comment on Khamenei at all" because "a lot of people in Dearborn" were sad about it.
El-Sayed firmly stated this past Sunday that neither he nor his family has ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. But his half-sister wrote online in 2012 that their mother was active in the Brotherhood during college in Egypt in the early 1970s, adding, “My family has long been MB.”
The most recent polling has Abdul El-Sayed up on Republican Mike Rogers in Michigan. It’s a toss-up in Texas right now, with Talarico in a strong position against Republican Ken Paxton.
Both of these Democrats are radical, not moderates, as you’re being led to believe, but if the media has its way, it’s possible they both may soon be US Senators.
