WHAT WE'RE WATCHING

🗳️ Steve Bannon is quietly plotting a 2028 run. Conservative political commentator Steve Bannon is reportedly preparing a 2028 presidential run to shape GOP policy debates, not to win. While publicly pushing for a third Trump term, sources say he is organizing a PAC and meeting party officials.

🕵️‍♀️ White House suspects MTG tipped off protesters. The White House suspects former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) leaked President Trump’s dinner location to left-wing Code Pink protesters. The incident embarrassed Trump, prompting his team to contact the Secret Service. Greene denies it, but aides cite her restaurant recommendation and friendship with the anti-war group’s co-founder as suspicious.

🏛️ Tucker Carlson appeared at a White House event with oil execs. Tucker Carlson made a surprise appearance at a White House meeting on Venezuela’s oil reserves with top oil executives. Looking noticeably thinner, Carlson expressed cautious support for the move, despite recent, vocal criticisms of Trump’s foreign policy.

🎙️ Dan Bongino returns to MAGA media. Fresh out of the FBI, Bongino reentered the podcasting space and immediately picked fights, declaring war on “black-pillers” and “grifters” whom he says are undermining the conservative movement. Bongino engaged in a profanity-filled exchange with former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) on X after Gaetz called out Bongino's three unsuccessful congressional runs.
