☕ Daily Brief: Judge Sides With Planned Parenthood

Turning Terror into Triumph — The B‑2 Bomber Mezuzah

Crafted from an actual Iranian missile fired into Israel, this powerful mezuzah is a symbol of Jewish resilience and faith. Designed by Israeli artist Yaron Bob, it's the very same piece that Prime Minister Netanyahu presented to President Trump. Each mezuzah is a limited-edition collectible, transforming a weapon of war into a vessel of holiness. Beware of imitations — this is the original. Supplies are extremely limited.

WHAT WE'RE WATCHING

👩‍⚖️ A judge blocked the GOP’s attempt to defund Planned Parenthood. District Judge Indira Talwani placed a temporary injunction on the Big, Beautiful Bill’s cut to Planned Parenthood funding, writing “threatens an increase in unintended pregnancies…because of reduced access to effective contraceptives.” Cutting funding for the organization had long been a goal of the conservative movement. The Trump administration lambasted the ruling and is likely to appeal.

🕊 President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire in the Cambodia-Thailand conflict. Fighting between the two southeastern Asian nations had been heating up in the past week, with scores killed on both sides. President Trump had paused trade negotiations with both sides, restarting talks after both had agreed to a halt in the fighting. The president oversaw ceasefire efforts during his trip to Scotland, where he also met with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

⚖️ The DOJ levied a formal complaint against Judge Boasberg. The Trump administration has asked that District Judge James Boasberg — who earlier this year ordered the Trump administration to turn planes around that were carrying illegal immigrants — be removed from a case concerning deportations. The complaint came after reports that Boasberg said he was concerned “the Administration would disregard rulings of federal courts leading to a constitutional crisis.”

🙏 The Trump administration will let federal employees discuss religion at work. A new memo from the Office of Personnel Management gives permission for employees to display and use religious items and can even proselytize, provided such efforts are not “harassment.” Prayer groups can also be formed, provided they take place when workers are not on-duty. The Trump administration noted that the Clinton administration had similar rules.

Do you think Trump's tariffs will bring manufacturing jobs back to the US?

🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 👍 Yes (1,121)
⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️ 👎 No (62)
⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️⬜️ 🤔 Unsure (102)

👍 Yes: “I’ll always defer to Trump. He has been right 99% of the time.” — Rich

👎 No: “There are nearly a million unfilled jobs in the manufacturing sector as I write. We lack people who can or will do those jobs. Plus, besides the fact that there are a million job openings, tariffs can’t possibly create jobs. They’re simply huge taxes Americans have to pay.” — Jose

🤔 Unsure: “We might see a slight uptick in some industries, but for the most part, our reliance on cheap stuff with cheap labor isn’t going to go away soon.” — Donald
