What’s happening

Some FBI and CIA employees are reportedly enraged by President Donald Trump’s plan to overhaul their agencies and are willing to sabotage them in response. Some employees are allegedly destroying evidence, and others may be considering selling out America’s secrets to the enemy.

The facts

→ A whistleblower from the FBI confirmed to journalist Michael Shellenberger that workers inside the agency have been “destroying evidence on servers.”

→ There are speculations as to what evidence employees are destroying, but nothing has yet been confirmed. Director Kash Patel was made aware of this.

→ Patel previously caught heat from FBI employees for wanting to make changes to the agency, including sending thousands of them out into the field “to be cops” — not to sit behind a desk at headquarters.

→ In early February, the CIA sent the White House an unclassified email listing all new hires who have been with the agency for two years or less. This ignited CIA employees’ anger, as they claimed such a move could expose their identities to foreign government hackers, placing them in danger.

→ CIA workers are also furious over President Trump’s push to cut the workforce and audit spending, particularly through the efforts of Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

→ DOGE has access to the federal government’s payment system, which is not only used for programs like Social Security for Medicaid, but also by the CIA to funnel payments for sensitive projects.

→ Despite widespread concern in the media, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent previously assured that DOGE’s access to these systems is limited to “read-only” to conduct financial audits.

→ Now, some of the CIA’s top brass are discussing concerns that disgruntled former employees might commit treason by leaking classified information to foreign adversaries like China or Russia in acts of revenge over firings.

→ These concerns over treason at the CIA come amid recent revelations about another intelligence agency, the National Security Agency, where employees used secret chat rooms for explicit discussions on topics like genital castration, fetishes, polyamory, and more.

Our insights

Reforming institutions like the IRS is one thing; restructuring intelligence agencies is far more complex. These institutions wield immense influence at home and abroad and have worked against Trump for nearly a decade. From advancing the now-discredited Russiagate narrative to intel agencies actively colluding to suppress the Hunter Biden laptop story, they have repeatedly sought to undermine him. The FBI’s role in January 6 only deepens concerns about their political entanglements.

Their resistance to Trump’s proposed reforms — and the concerns about national security — validates his claim that federal institutions have been politicized. The issue isn’t budget cuts or appointments — it’s an entrenched bureaucracy that has operated with little oversight and clear political motivation. Trump’s current efforts are challenging that.

As a former member of over 30-years in the intel community, I understand that it is easy to believe that, since most can't see or know what you do, you can operate with impunity in your daily activities. It is imperative that you remember, that once you are vetted for a security clearance, the expectation is that your behavior will be above board at all times. Years of non-scrutiny has created the idea that agencies should not be able to question behavior, but the very idea some would consider sabotaging sensitive information demonstrates how necessary house-cleaning is. Our tax dollars are paying for potential catastrophe!

Those 3-letter agencies have had full reign to do whatever they wished, apparently without oversight, losing themselve the respect of American citizens, as well as 'the world'. Add to that the recent political weaponization of them against President Trump over the past 8 years and you have a totally volitile situation. Trump is doing exactly as promised and the Dems are furious. So be it! I support both him and Elon Musk, who certainly isn't doing it for the money, as he is already a billionaire and is offering his services for free, just as Trump did throughout his first term in office. This is totally opposite of the corruption perpetrated by the former admins. And it is in total alignment with our Founding Fathers, by the way...

I would submit that many of these were already treasonous in their actions by misappropriating money and manpower for subversive activity over the past 8 years. Clearly, ideology has driven many agents to make efforts to undermine all things Trump, an obvious breach of the oath they swear when appointed. Public trust is now so low that these agencies have become reckless and abandoned even the APPEARANCE of operating surreptitiously. They are out in the open and unafraid - which will be to their detriment, as they are deluded into thinking they are untouchable. Unfortunately for them, President Trump is now the boss....

We know the penalty for treason. We know the process for investigating treason. We want to see the process lead to the penalty.

Charge them with treason, try them, and punish them accordingly.

Note that it was the CIA upper level management decision to send the list as unclassified. This certainly was a mistake. But the employees react not against their management, but against the President. For altogether too long they have lost sight of whom they are working for: we the people, and our duly elected leaders. They have become a loose cannon on deck. Destroying useful or incriminating (?) information should be cause for dismissal, with due warning about disclosure of classified information. Espionage or treason should earn them the Rosenbergs' fate.

It is hard to imagine a government employee turning into a spy because of the results of an election. If he or she should do so, it definitely calls into question a huge number of things about that person's background: location, type of education, family relationships and much more. People who work for the U.S. government should not be just anybody needing a job. They must be loyal Americans who understand that American presidents are elected by millions of American citizens. The will of the majority is what counts. The employee's political preferences are not determinative and should be left home.

Keep praying for Trump and his movement with all his helpers, supporters, followers, to be protected from this mangled up situation and all the swamp creatures scheming against him and us "We the People" who voted to give President Trump the mandate that he and his team are working hard on our behalf to accomplish. Our tax funds have been being stolen and used to feed every vile enemy within the swamp - News outlets have been spewing deception to further fuel the swamps hatred of Trump for years, and they are now turning their vile attempts against Elon too! the more evidence of fraud that gets uncovered, the more agitated the swamp creatures are becoming ! So pleas keep up the prayers for good to win out over the evils within the swamp!

Trump and his administration need to be hyper-focused on not only cleaning out the government and these agencies, but also on holding certain individuals to the full extent of the law. We all know what high-treason and crimes against humanity's punishment is. It's time for a certain percentage of America to be removed from their "comfort zone" and experience, by way of the guilty of these crimes, what the ramifications of their actions can hold going forward. Gone will be the cavalier and arrogance of the most degenerate of our society. Gone will be the entitlement and victimhood mentality from our society. A strong dose of accountability mixed with a healthy fear of wrongdoing will go a long way in remedying the countries putrid state now and going forward..

Anyone who actually does commit treason should be prosecuted and "hammered" with a very long prison sentence. A message needs to be sent to all of these "special, privileged individuals", they are not any better or safer than any other citizen.

The intimation of treason is a serious security failure that needs to be dealt with swiftly and very publicly. We cannot have personnel with security clearances threatening treason without severe consequences. Shows the deprivation the deep state has stooped to…
